Dipankar Ghosh

Dipankar is a Life Sciences executive with two decades of R&D, product management, and marketing background. After obtaining his Ph.D in analytical chemistry from the University of Wales, he started his career in R&D with Dow Chemicals in Oxford, UK, eventually moving to the US to take up a commercial role with Thermo Fisher Scientific. He spent 15+ years in the global laboratory instruments industry, holding leadership positions responsible for technologies, public-private customer partnerships, and commercial strategies. At SmartLabs, he’s responsible for the development and operations of our research centers with focus on external custom offerings.

• Created Applied Markets business segment for Thermo Fisher Scientific, helping to grow it to a $300M business
• Track record of delivering multiple NPIs Life Sciences and MedTech, including creation of product definition, GTM strategies, portfolio positioning and pricing
• Led development of an extensive network of Key Opinion Leaders with academia, industry and regulatory agencies for key research innovations and technology ideation
